Bean - Graveside services for Thena Kelly Simmons Martin of Tom Bean,
86, who died February 2, 1996 in Hilltop Haven Nursing Home in Gunter,
were held Monday, February 5, 1996 in Holloway Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Earnheart Funeral Home
in Whitewright. Mrs. Martin was born July 17, 1909, near Boardcamp in Polk Co., Arkansas. She was the daughter of Claude Evans Kelly and Mary Elizabeth Rogers Kelly and retired as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell. Mrs. Martin was a member of Telephone Pioneers and Travis Street Church of Christ. Surviving are her brother, Charles J. Kelly of Anaheim, California; sister, Harriett Graham, of Portland, Oregon; sons, Larry Simmons of Tom Bean and Jack Simmons of Denison; daughter-in-law, Joyce Simmons of Plano; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
