Buddy Allen Reynolds, five weeks old son of Mr. and Mrs. D.Z. Reynolds, Sherman, Route 1, died at 5:30 a.m. Friday in a local hospital.  He had been ill since birth.  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Friday from the Luella Baptist Church, Rev. C. Chumbely of Howe officiating.  Burial followed at Holloway Cemetery with Talley Funeral Home of Sherman in charge.
The child was born near Sherman, August 10, 1936.
Surviving besides his parents, are one sister, Dovie Nell of Sherman; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Reynolds of Bells and Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Helms of Sherman.

Sherman, Texas - Delmer Z. Reynolds, 89, of Sherman slipped into eternal rest on March 29, 2000 after a brief illness.  Highly respected in several Grayson County communities where he resided during his earthly sojourn, he leaves behind a host of adoring family members and friends.  A multi-talented individual and a family man, Delmer Reynolds was a successful farmer and dairy man for several years in Grayson County before being employed by the city of Sherman for over 25 years, a position from which he retired.  He has been active in a number of southern Baptist churches, holding responsible positions in church training activities.  At the time of his death, he was a member of the Community Lighthouse Church in Sherman; he perviously attended East Sherman Baptist Church for many years and First Baptist Church in Bells, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Armstrong Helms Reynolds.  His first wife of 57 years, Nellie Helms Reynolds, preceded him in death in 1985  A son, Buddy Allen Reynolds, also preceded him in death.  His parents, both deceased, were Charles M. and Jennie Flowers Reynolds; brothers, Lelmer Reynolds, Elmer Reynolds, and Van Reynolds also preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Groner of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Dovie Halliburton Hogan of Bells, Texas; grandsons, Larry Halliburton of Allen, Texas; Terry Halliburton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; stepchildren, Robert Helms of Howe and Donna Batey Denison; grand stepchildren, Jesse Batey; Matthew Helms; and Mary Lollier; 7 great-grandchildren; nephews, Richard Reynolds of Sherman; Donald Ayres of Bells; and sister, Fannie Ayres.
Services were held Friday, March 31, 2000 at Dannel Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Carl Douglas and Rev. Stan McNutt officiated with burial following at Holloway Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Richard Reynolds, Sr.; Robert Helms; Eric Batey; Larry Halliburton; Terry Halliburton; Robert Becker; Barry Wright; and Don Ayers.
Honorary pallbearers were Michael Reynolds; Richard Reynolds, Jr.; Bryan Graham; Brian Ayres; Jesse Batey; Matt Helms; Jan Armstrong; and Steve Copeland.
