MISS LULA REED
Well Known School Teacher Passes Away This Morning

Miss Lula Reed, 31 years of age, died in Sherman this morning at 9 o'clock.  Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 2 o'clock at the Baptist Church at Luella, following which burial will be in the Holloway Cemetery.
Deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Julia Goodnight of Luella, and a brother, Tom Reed; a half sister, Miss Ruby Goodnight; her mother having been married twice.
Miss Reed was a well known school teacher and had taught several years in Grayson county.  Several years ago she was elected to a position in the high school at Claud in Western Texas and taught there two years.  Last fall she was elected to the position again, but on account of failing health, did not accept the place.  She was deeply religious and had belonged to the Baptist church since childhood, and at all times was uncompromisingly for the right.  Her life has reflected a beautiful Christian character and has been an inspiration to all who have been with her and her death will regretted in a large circle of friends.
