  J.F. Johnson 6 March 1868 - 16 August 1898
The
body of George F. Johnson, 48, who died Tuesday night at Portales, New
Mexico, arrived in Whitesboro Thursday at 10:20 a.m. and was taken by a
Talley Funeral Home coach to the home of his mother, Mrs. W.F. Crawford
in Sadler. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Basin Springs Church; Rev. T.A. Irby and J.A. King officiated. Interment was in Holloway Cemetery, south of Sherman. Surviving are his wife; 2 daughters; a son; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; and his mother.
