H.T. BAKER ATTACKE BY MAD ANIMAL
Sherman, Nov. 28 - H.T. Baker, 61 years of age, one of the wealthiest and best known farmers of this part of the state, was gored to death by an angry bull Sunday morning at his home near Howe.  Mr. Baker was attacked when he entered the pasture where he kept the bull.  After knocking the aged man off his feet, the beast used its head and fore hooves to crush the skull and chest of its victim.
It is stated that Mr. Baker left his home about 6 o'clock in the morning to feed the bull; when he did not return, members of the family went in search.  At 8 o'clock he was found in a drough a quarter of a mile from the house.  The bull was still standing over the unconscious man, who died without regaining consciousness shortly after being found.
He is survived by his wife; 3 sons and 1 daughter.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed Monday morning, but the body will not be buried for serveral days, pending the arrival of relatives.
