I.W. ARRINGTON SERVICES HELD
Services were held Wednesday for I.W."Dick" Arrington, 61, who passed away Monday at his home in Pilot Grove.  Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Tom Bean, conducted by Rev. Houston Garner, Baptist minister of the Hebron Baptist Church.  Burial was in Holloway Cemetery under the direction of Earnheart Funeral Home.
He was born May 14, 1913 at Elba, Alabama.  He married Hazel Lucretia Ratcliff July 3, 1940 at Durant, Oklahoma.  He was a member of the Baptist church and a rancher and welder.  He spent most of his lifein Texas.
Survivors include his wife of Whitewright; mother, Mrs. Ara Arrington of Enterprise, Alabama; 3 sons, Richard and Nathan of Sherman, and Tim of Tom Bean; 4 daughters, Mrs. Ruben King of Van Alstyne; Mrs. Johnny Key, Mrs. Rex Swanner of Sherman, and Mary Arrington of the home; one brother, Ollie V. Arrington of Howe; one sister, Mrs. Hubbard Barnes of Enterprise, Alabama; and 8 grandchildren

PILOT GROVE RANCHER DIES
A Pilot Grove rancher and welder, Dick Arrington, 61, was buried at the Holloway Cemetery Wednesday following services at the Tom Bean First Baptist Church.
Arrington died at his home in Pilot Grove Monday.  Services were conducted by Rev. H.L. Garner, pastor of the Hebron Baptist Church.
Mr. Arrington was the father of Mrs. Ruben King of Van Alstyne.
Native of Elba, Alabama, Mr. Arrington was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Arrington.  He was married to the former Hazel Lucretia Ratcliff on July 3, 1940 in Durant, Oklahoma.  He was a veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
His wife survives;  Other survivors are his mother, who lives at Enterprise, Alabama; 3 sons, Richard Arrington and Nathan Arrington, both of Sherman; and Tim Arrington of Tom Bean; 4 daughters, Mrs. King; Mrs. Johnny Key and Mrs. Rex Swanner, both of Sherman; and Miss Mary Arrington of Whitewright; a brother, Ollie V. Arrington of Howe; a sister, Mrs. Hubbard Barnes of Enterprise, Alabama; and 8 grandchildren.
