Platter, Okla - William Edward "Eddie" Holley, age 61, entered into eternal life Sunday, April 3, 2011 at his home in Platter, Okla.
Mr. Holley was born May 8, 1949 in Pulaski, Tennessee, the son of Sam and Elsie Mae (Seagroves) Holley.  Eddie married the love of his life, Loretta Stamper, May 9, 1978.  He served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Eddie worked at Jones Family Bar-B-Que and Aratex both for ten years.  He had to stop working due to bad health for the last ten years.
Eddie loved the Lord and lived his life by Baptist faith.  He enjoyed carrying on a conversation and was a joy to be around.  Eddie brought to his home a feeling of warmth.  Eddie put forth true love and compassion to all those around him and his kind hearted nature will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Holley is survived by his loving family:  wife, Loretta Holley of Platter, Okla.; sons, Kenny Holley and wife, Tandy, of Achille, Okla. and Troy Woodard of Alabama; daughters: Loretta Elk and husband, Jason, of Denison; Lisa Holley Varmado of Columbia, Tenn.; beloved grandchildren: Danielle Holley, Kaylie Elk, Adalynn Elk, and Josh Dobbins; brothers, J.W. Holley and wife, Chris, of Denison; Clifford Holley and wife, Everee, of Lewisberg, Tenn.; Raymond Holley and wife, Cat, of Cornersville, Tenn.; sister, Louise Brown of Lewisberg, Tenn.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, and recently by his sister, Della Mae Stone.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Brother Billy Hackler officiating.  Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Fisher Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison.
