Billy Gene Young "PePaw" of Bells, Texas, went  home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 13, 2022.
He was born September 11, 1937 in Bells, Texas, son of J.D. Young and Nancy Jean Arnold.  He graduated from Bells High School, where he met the love of his life, Wanda Meek, and they were married for 66 years.
Bill was a car salesman at Economy Motors/Lute Riley Volkswagen for 10 years.  In 1972 he went to work for Taylor Lincoln Mercury and became co-owner, where he then retired.  He worked at Albertson's part-time in the meat market, where he made many friends with the customers and co-workers.  Bill was a funny, caring and giving man.  He loved his family and spending time with his grandkids and going to their different activities.  He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife of Bells, Texas; 2 daughters, Rena Cates and husband, Mike; and Kelly Worthington and husband, Donnie; grandchildren: Kasey Worthington and wife, Davilyn of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mandi Corbin and husband, Jared, of Baytown, Texas; Josh Cates and wife, Samantha, of Aubrey, Texas; great-grandchildren: Cali Jade Corbin; Kade Corbin Worthington; McKinley Jane Corbin; Colby Dale Worthington, Maverick Alan Cates, Brandt William Worthington, Cash Rip Corbin and Duke William Cates.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, August 20, 2022 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating.  Interment followed at Hebron Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Kasey Worthington, Josh Cates, Jared Corbin, Mike Cates, Michael Jack Lankford and Jason Lankford.  Honorary pallbearer was Donnie Coffman.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
