AMBROSE - Funeral services for Douglas Johnson, 69, were April 29 in Mullican-Little Chapel.
Burial was in Hebron Cemetery. Mr. Johnson died April 27 in a Denison Hospital.
He was born April 20, 1913 in Fannin County. He married Woodie Prichard in 1935 in Ambrose.
Mr. Johnson was a member of the Ambrose Baptist Church. He was a retired security guard for Phillips Petroleum where he worked more than 20 years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Douglas E. of Jackson, Mississippi and Michael of Great Bend, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Alin Hale of Phillips and Mrs. Lyndon Hicks of Casper, Wyoming; two brothers, Howard of Valley Mills and Eugene of Long Beach, Washington; one sister, Mrs. Louise Cummings of Denison, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ambrose - Woodie Johnson Glenn passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born April 6, 1918 in Lampasas County, Texas the daughter of G.T. Pritchard and Elizabeth Williford Pritchard. Woodie married Douglas Gilliam Johnson on December 21, 1935 in Ambrose, he preceded her in death on April 29, 1982. She then married Roy Glenn in 1988 and he preceded her in death in 1994.
Woodie was a dedicated member of Hebron Baptist Church and worked as a Dietician at Mullican Nursing Home. She was a member of the Red Hat Club.
Funeral services for Woodie will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Hebron Baptist Church. Rev. Houston Garner will officiate. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
Woodie is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Hicks of Sherman and Tommie Hale of Fritch; and sons Michael Johnson and his wife Peggy of Great Bend, Kan., and Doug Johnson and his wife Nell of Forest, Missi.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-greatgrandchildren.
Woodie was also preceded in death by her sister Odie Webb.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Hale, Joe Hale, Mike Johnson, Morris Halliburton, Jeff McGehee and John Mozelle.
The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Woodie's name to Hebron Baptist Church, P.O. Box 176, Bells, TX 75414.
