CLINTON SMITH SERVICES ARE SET WEDNESDAY
Bells - Clinton C. (Corky) Smith, 41, died enroute to a Bonham hospital Monday night after suffering a heart attack at his home, Rt. 1, Bells.
Funeral services will be held at the Mullican-Little Funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Houston Garner, pastor of the Hebron Baptist church, officiating.  Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery.
Mr. Smith was born September 12, 1928 at Bells and married Miss Maggie Dean Shields at Whitewright May 24, 1947.
Survivors are his wife of the home; three sons, Joe, Barry and Randy Smith of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Thomas of Amarillo, and Janice Marie and Tina Lou Smith, both of the home; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Humphries of Whitewright; a brother, Joe C. Smith of Olean, New York; a half-brother, Wilbert Humphries of Whitewright; three stepbrothers; two sisters, Mrs. Janette Riggs of Sherman and Mrs. Helen Nobles of Houston.
He was a machinist with a Sherman firm.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Ambrose Baptist church where he served as Sunday School superintendent and was a member of the Bells Masonic Lodge and a graduate of Bells high school.
