Services for Mrs. F.C. McCollum were at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells-Savoy.
Pallbearers were Virgil Gilliam, Tom Cobble, Tommy Deberry, Jim Fleming, Sammy Burnette, and L.Z. Wilemon.
She died early Monday in a Denison rest home following a long illness. Rev. Roland Pryor of Blue Ridge and Rev. Alvie Fletcher of Ambrose officiated and burial was in the Hebron Cemetery.
Mrs. McCollum was born December 28, 1877 [sic] in Georgia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Berry.  She married F.C. McCollum August 16, 1895 in Georgia and the family lived in the Bells-Savoy area for over 60 years.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of Ambrose; one son, L.V. McCollum of Denison; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Pryor of Holiday, Mrs. Ralph Pryor and Mrs. Thomas Todd, both of Bells; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Gray of California; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
