VERDA EUNIA BAKER
Services for Mrs. Verda Eunia Baker, 91, were held Tuesday in Hall Cemetery near Howe.  She died Saturday at Hayward, California.
Mrs. Baker was born in Howe, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackson F. Wilson, and married Ellis Baker in March 1910, in Sherman.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Howe
Surviving are daughters, Evelyn Bowers of Fort Worth, Elizabeth Langford of Hayward and Janell Auten of Rock Hill, S.C.; sons, Alton Baker of Sherman, Woodrow Baker of Fairfield, Calif., Claude Baker of Clear Lake, Calif., Bill Baker of El Monte, Calif.; brothers, Jim Hicks of Long Beach, Calif., and Harold Hicks of Shreveport, La.; sister, Lillian Smith of Long Beach;
15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Fletcher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne was in charge.
