Jack Glendell Crosby of Euless, Texas, 67-year-old auto mechanic, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Services were held Saturday, Jan. 23, in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Bob Rutherford officiated and burial was held in Hall Cemetery.
Mr. Crosby was born on January 9, 1932, in Tom Bean, Texas, the son of John Henry Crosby and Myrtle Edna Douglas Crosby. He married Janette Glazener on December 1, 1979 in Euless, Texas.
He served in the Korean War and was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Janette Crosby of Euless; mother, Myrtle Crosby Stubblefield of Sherman; son, Gerald Glen Crosby of Euless; two stepdaughters, Deborah Woodley of Waco, Texas and Sherry Mindieta of Ft.Worth, Texas; two stepson, Sam Glazener of Roseville, Calif. and George Glazener of Ft.Worth; one sister, Edna Flodell Dimpsey of Arlington, Texas; four brothers, Terry Crosby of Van Alstyne, Jim Crosby of Sherman, Don Crosby of Southmayd and Wayne Crosby of Nunn, Colo; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
