HOWE- Services for Ola Janet King Solis Thompson, 80-year-old Howe homemaker were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church in Howe. She died Saturday at her son's home in Howe.
The Rev. Riger Tidwell of the church and the Rev. Scott Jones of the First United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Hall Cemetery.  Waldo Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Johnson County, the daughter of Henry Edmond King and Stella Denton King. She graduated from Howe High School and attended both Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma and Austin College.
On June 20, 1937, she married Robert Glen Sollis in Howe. He died May 11, 1957. After his death, she married Thurmond Thompson September 1, 1972 in Howe.
She had been a salesclerk for K-Wolens in Sherman and Chisum's in Howe, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Howe.
Surviving are her son, Bobby Sollis of Howe; daughter, Lynda Terry of Dallas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brian Jamieson, Mike Trowbridge, Brent Lankford, Clay Clark, Tim Pike and Matt Helms.
