Thursday, October 9, 1969 RITES WEDNESDAY FOR G.M. McNEESSE Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church for Gaines Monroe McNeese, 83, who died Monday at 1:55 p.m. in a Sherman hospital. Mr. McNeese was born in Mississippi June 14, 1886, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.B. McNeese. He was a retired oil distributor, a member of the Baptist Church and the Van Alstyne Masonic Lodge. Rev. J.L. Gregory and Rev. Sam Randolph officiated with burial at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Irene Bellow of Richardson; one son, George McNeese of Sherman; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
