A6 Howe - Services for Ashley Ann Hackney, 17-year-old student who died Tuesday in Howe, were held Friday afternoon in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Howe. Rev. John Bain officiated with burial in Hall Cemetery. Ashley was born in Dallas, daughter of Jerry Hackney and Willie Shaw Jackney. She would have been a senior at Howe High School this fall. She was a member of the First Christian Churcn in Van Alstyne and was active in the youth group there. Surviving are her parents; sisters, Summer Hackney of Howe and Cindy Autry of Maud; brothers, Monte Hackney of McKinney; Dennis Hackney of Bonham; Tim Hackney of New Boston; Eric Schulz of Howe; and Jason Shultz of Shreveport, Louisiana; and grandmother, Hazel Shaw of Pettus.
