Mrs. J.H. Hatcher of Howe died Wednesday, January 15th, 10:50 a.m. and was buried Thursday, January 16 in the cemetery by the side of her husband who died nine years ago.  Mrs. Hatcher had been very poorly for many months, but on last Thursday pneumonia developed and she grew worse and relatives were wired, and the most of them were at her bedside when death came.
The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at Howe under the auspices of the Masonic lodge.  
Mrs. Hatcher formerly lived in Sherman.  Her husband was in the dry goods business here several years ago.  At the time of his death, he was in the drug business at Howe.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gingles and Clyde Gingles of Sherman are nephews and niece of the deceased.
