Funeral services were conducted Thursday for Mrs. Ida Louvena McKinney, 75, who died at her home, 418 Shepherd Street, Monday.  She had lived in Denison 42 years.  Services were conducted by Rev. L.R. Lamb at the Short-Murry chapel and burial was at Hall cemetery, Howe, her old home, with Short-Murry directing.
She was born November 26, 1867 at Greenville, South Carolina, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Fowler.  She was educated at the schools of her town and was married March 4, 1894 at Howe.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Geo. C., Little Rock, Arkansas; and T.D. and M.L. McKinney of Hammond, Indiana.  Daughters are Mrs. Marvin Roach and Mrs. Iva Doggett, Denison.  Sisters are Mrs. G.C. Davis, Dallas, and Mrs. Frank McMahan, Van Alstyne.
