McDONOUGH Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Virginia McDonough, 96, were held Thursday, who passed away Wednesday in a McKinney nursing home. Rev. Johnny Johnson, pastor of Howe Methodist Church, officiated at the services at the church, with interment in Hall Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne. Mrs. McDonough was born December 22, 1875 at Chambersville, Texas. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Light Morris. She was a member of Howe Methodist Church. She and J.M. McDonough were married at Farmington March 26, 1903. Mr. McDonough preceded her in death June 13, 1931. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jewel Stevens, Sherman; three sons, G.T. McDonough of Howe; J.A. McDonough of Dallas; and Lee McDonough of California; 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
