June 2, 1977 Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Alice Wells, 43, of Sherman, were held on Tuesday at the Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Wells died on Friday, May 27, 1977, at a Sherman hospital. Services were conducted by Rev. Bob Milligan of the Elmont Baptist Church. Burial was at Hall cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Otho (Jack) Wells, of Sherman; daughters, Mrs. Linda Campbell, Mrs. Debbie Westmoreland and Miss Jackie Wells, all of Sherman; one son, Cletus R. Rich of Lubbock; her mother, Mrs. Edna Lay of Van Alstyne, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two step-sons, J.T. Wells of Mineral Wells and Larry Wells of Denison; three sisters, Mrs. Inez Hix and Mrs. Juanita Dice, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Mita Hampton of Tioga; four step-sisters, including Miss Nettie Lay of Van Alstyne; five step-brothers, including L.C.
