King 18 July 1885 - 15 December 1966 wed 10 July 1904 The Howe Enterprise Thursday, December 22, 1966 pg. 12 FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. KING Mrs. Mary Estella King, 81, died at her home here last Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in First Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Albert F. Click, and Rev. Ralph Burk officiating. Interment was in Hall Cemetery, under the direction of the Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne. Mrs. King was born in Johnson County, July 18, 1885, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Denton. She was the widow of H.E. King, who preceded her in death in 1960. Mrs. King was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Janet Sollis of Howe; two sons, Clyde and Earl King, both of Howe; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Della Ross of Fresno, California and Mrs. Ocie Stuart of Cleburne; and brother, Arthur Denton of Cleburne.
