P. G. & Martha Alice Yeager

Martha Alice Spears Yeager was born April 2, 1868 to Noah Morris Spears and Margret Emmaline Kitchens.  She came to Texas in 1890 with three sisters and one brother.  She married P.G Yeager (buried at Hall cemetery, Howe) in 1912. She died on April 7th, 1963 and was buried at Van Alstyne cemetery.

Van Alstyne - P.C. Yeager, 81, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday at his home two miles northeast of Gunter.  Funeral services were held at the residence at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Rev. Woodrow Adcock of Howe.  Fox-Fanning directed the burial in Hall Cemetery.
Mr. Yeager was born January 29, 1858 in Hunt county, a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. B.W. Yeager.  He was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Alice Spears; three sons, E.W. Yeager of Gunter; C.M. Yeager of Whitesboro; and P.W. Yeager of Sherman; a daughter, Mrs. Mae Blankenship of Sherman; one brother, A.O. Yeager of Blessing; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
