The Lord gained a new angel when He called Treva Jo Conner Crocker home to His kingdom. Born August 21, 1944 to Henry and Bertha Conner, Treva of Howe, Texas, succumbed to life on Earth on September 12, 2012 at the young age of 68 years surrounded by family and loved ones in her home.
Treva married Eddie Crocker on August 31, 1962 and was blessed to be able to celebrate 50 wonderful years with her soul mate. As a member of First Baptist Church, Howe for 30+ years, Treva used her God given talents to minister to children of all ages, especially the youngest as her passion motivated her to work in the nursery at church. She loved camping, sewing, dancing and enjoying as much time as possible with her family. Treva was also a member of the church's XYZ ministry where she enjoyed adventurous trips and many nights of 42 and other games.
Treva is survived by her spouse of 50 years, Eddie Crocker; two daughters, Henri Ann and husband Joe Gonzalez of Carrollton, Texas, and Carlena Jo and husband Alton Rhymes of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Christian, Addie-Jo, Emerson, Memphis, and Ayden "Smiles" Rhymes all of Wynnewood, and Enrique, Emilio, and Elias Gonzalez all of Carrollton; one sister, Gaynell Moree of Springlake, Texas; one brother, Robert and wife Peggy Conner of Springlake, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family that will truly miss her.
Memorial services were held at Waldo Funeral Home on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10 a.m., co- graveside services  followed at Hall Cemetery, officiated by Michael Crocker and Kevin Bouse. Pallbearers were Alton Rhymes, Joe Gonzalez, Thom Hanson, Christian Rhymes, Ardis Conner, Dusty Cotter, and Michael Price. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation be made in Treva's name at the following website: http://www.alzfdn.org/ContributetoAFA/makeadonation.html.
