THE NEWS FROM HOWE
Howe, Tex, Feb. 22 - Death is abroad in our land and has claimed two of our most loved and respected citizens since last we wrote.
The one Grandma Bush of near Farmington was called to rest from her labors here on last Saturday and was laid away by kind and loving hands at the Hall cemetery on Sunday.  The ground being covered with snow was but a fit emblem of her purity of character  and those who knew her best realize that indeed we have lost "a mother in Israel."
