RITES TUESDAY FOR MRS. TRAMMELL
Services were held at 4 p.m. at the Dorchester Baptist Church for Mrs. William Frank Trammell, 68, long-time resident of Dorchester, who died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at a Sherman hospital.  Services were conducted by Rev. Bobby Layman, Baptist minister of Greenville, with burial at Hall Cemetery.
Mrs. Trammell was born August 16, 1900 in Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Andrew Hale.  She was the former Miss Emma Matilda Hale before her marriage on March 29, 1920 at Denison.  She had lived at Dorchester for the past 45 years, moving there from Kemp, Oklahoma.  She was a member of Dorchester Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband of Dorchester; three sons, J.W. Trammell of Howe; Leman Trammell of Sherman; and Eugene Trammell of Texas City; three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Billy of Dorchester; Mrs. A.C. Gailey of Howe; and Mrs. Bud Ward of Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, Albert Hale of Denison; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Pritchett, Mrs. Mary Bowers and Mrs. Lula House, all of Denison; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were V.R. Rutherford, Johnny Taylor, Jerry Scott, Frank Scott, Robert Elliott, and Grady Lankford.

TRAMMELL RITES HELD SATURDAY
Services were held Saturday in the Flesher Funeral Chapel, Van Alstyne, for Leman Ray Trammell, 43, who died Thursday at his home in Hereford.  Burial was in Hall Cemetery.
Mr. Trammell was born October 16, 1927, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Trammell.  He worked as a laborer and was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Trammell of Hereford; his father, William F. Trammell of Howe; three sisters, Mrs. A.C. Gailey of Howe; Mrs. Josephine Billy of Dorchester; and Mrs. A.E. Ward of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; and two brothers, J.W. Trammell of Howe and M.E. Trammell of Texas City.
