 IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE

On the 10th day of February the Death Angel came in our midst and saddened our hearts by taking our dear loving friend, Virgil Barron. In his leaving his wife has lost a true and loyal husband, and his children, a kind and tender father, and his father and mother, a noble son. To know him was to love him. His friends numbered many and enemies few.
Grieve not loved ones. God doeth all things well. Remember his last words that expressed a sweet consolation in telling his dear mother and loved ones not to grieve for him that he was ready and not afraid to die. "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall all see God." He has only gone before to await your coming.
Mr. Virgil Barron was the son of Mr.and Mrs. W. F. Barron. He was married to Bessie Smith. He was survived by his wife, sons, Leon Barron and Grady Barron both of the home, three brothers, Macie Barron, Avery Barron and Henry Barron all
of the Sherman area; three sisters, Nora Gurley, Minnie and Ada Barron.

Burial was in the Hall Cemetery.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dannel Funeral Chapel for Macie R. Barron, 74, of Sherman route 2, a farmer who died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 1961 in his home after a long illness.
The Rev. C. J. Graves, pastor of Friendship Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery. Eric Little, M. M. Brisco, S. D. Purdom, C. C. Shaw, J. M. Miller and Robert Nicholson will be pallbearers.
The family will be at the Dannel Funeral Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Barron was born November 25, 1886 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Barron. He had lived in Grayson County since the age of four. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are two brothers, Avery Barron and Henry Barron both of Sherman and several nieces and nephews.
