DUFF HOOD PASSES
Graveside services were conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in the Hall Cemetery west of here for Mr. Duff Hood, 79, retired Howe farmer, who died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in a Sherman hospital.  He lived on Denison route 3.
Rev. Leon Martin, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, Sherman, conducted the services, Waldo Funeral Home of Sherman had charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hood had farmed most of his life in the Howe area.  Born April 10, 1885 in Georgia, he came to Grayson County 60 years ago.  On August 6, 1906, he married Miss Minnie Davis of Howe.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Johnny Hood of Wichita Falls; Carl Hood of Sherman; and Clifford Hood of Howe and one grandson.
