March 4, 2013 Services for Leslie Ann Mathis Gorondy, 63, of Gunter were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel-Van Alstyne. Burial followed at Gunter Cemetery. Leslie passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Larry Gorondy of Gunter; son, Leslie Ray Mathis of Royce City, Texas. Step-son, Rickey Gorondy of Alamogordo, New Mexico. Daughter, Kimberly Dawn Ebey of Bossier City, Louisiana. Step-daughter, Susan Bizinski of San Diego, California. Brothers, Johnny Mathis of Dallas, Texas, and Jimmy Mathis of Little Elm, Texas. Six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
