GUNTER -- Funeral services for Lola Elnora Acrey, 85 of Gunter, who died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Hilltop Haven Nursing Home in Gunter, were held at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne.  Marlin Cole will officiate.
Interment followed in Gunter under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.
Survivors include sisters, Lana Izell Mathis of McKinney, Elizabeth Nadine Massey of Gunter; brother, June Arlin Sanson of Mineola.

GUNTER - Services for Virgil Acrey, Jr., 66, a retired truck driver who died Tuesday at his home in Dallas, were Saturday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne.  Roy Hazelton, church of Christ minster officiated.  Burial was at Gunter Cemetery.
Mr. Acrey was born in Arkansas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Acrey, and was married to Elnora Haynes on October 18, 1959 in Dallas.
Surviving are his wife; stepson, Ray Haynes of Balch Springs; sisters, Leola Little of Pinehurst, Verlon Acrey of Houston and Etta Smilex of Spring; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Johnny Mathis, Jimmy Mathis, Larry Gorondy, June Sansom, Burnell Sansom, A.J. Miller and Leslie Mathis.
