Services were held in Gunter Tuesday for Mrs. Emma Ussery, 84, retired bookkeeper.  She died at a nursing home in Gunter on Sunday, December 4, 1977.  Services were held at Hilltop Haven Nursing Home Chapel.
Burial was at Gunter Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ussery was born in Texas, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Gentry.  She married on March 12, 1912, Clem W. Ussery who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
