She was born to Frances Hugh and Mary E. Johnson Davidson in Willis, Oklahoma on February 15, 1917, the third of five children. They returned to Texas by the time she was two years old and she considered herself a Texan.
Ms. McAden passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 in Bridgeport at the age of 92.
She married Harold William McAden on October 12, 1935. She was employed by Linda Jo Shoe Factory and Weber Aircraft for many years. She was an officer and color bearer for the Elm Creek Rebekah Lodge No. 6. She was an avid gardener, fantastic southern cook, story teller, listener and humorist. Most of all, she was a friend. We were all truly blessed to have her in our lives.
She is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in law; two daughters and one son-in-law. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; her sister Christine; and her brother, Joe.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hugh Davidson; and sister, Kitty Meeks.
