SWANN, FORMER DENISON RESIDENT, DIES Mrs. Lessie Swann, 28, of Baxter Springs, Kansas, formerly a resident of Denison, died at her Kansas home Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Her death came suddenly. The body was brought overland by Short-Murray for interment in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Swann left this city about one year ago, first moving to Springfield, Missouri and later to Baxter Springs. They had lived there only 3 weeks. Mrs. Swann was born and reared in te Gordonville community, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rogers. She married in 1925 at Sherman. Surviving are her husband and parents and two sons, James and Windell, of Baxter Springs, and a brother, Cecil Rogers, Sherman.
