DENISON - Funeral for Mrs. Alma Mae Arthur, 77, who died Saturday afternoon in a Denison hospital will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Johnson-Moore Chapel with the Rev. Earnest Potter officiating, assisted by the Rev. Steve Rice.  Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
She was born on May 18, 1911 in Witumka, Okla., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Farmer.  She married Earl A. Arthur on September 17, 1931 in Durant.  She was a homemaker and also worked in the nursery in Calvary Baptist Church where she was a member.
Surviving are two sons, Earl M. and Kenneth D., both of Denison; a daughter, Myrtle Garner of Denison; a sister, Cleo Daugherty of Pottsboro; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Daugherty, Leon Short, Weldon Arthur, Jeff Arthur, Ronnie Arthur, and Dwayne Arthur. 
Family will be at the funeral home 5-6 p.m. today.
