Blessed Are They Who Mourn For They Shall Be Comforted - Matthew 5:4

September 20, 2021 Herminio Tovar, Jr. went to rest peacefully with Our Lord where we are certain he looks upon our tears and sends his comfort because that is who he is.
Herminio was a  beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many who will never be the same without his joyful and comforting smie close by.  Herminio was born in Denison, Texas and resided in Pottsboro, Texas with his loving family where he began school at Pottsboro ISD and later graduated from Pottsboro High School.
Herminio made friends with everybody easily and everyone felt he was strategically placed by God into their lives.  "Herm" as he was affectionately known, helped all to see the world from his view: light-hearted, loving and always close by.
Herminio is preceded in death by his brother, Alejandro Tovar; Uncle, Antonio Salasar; grandparents, Amanda Tovar Fidel Salasar, Juan Tovar and Camila Salasar.
He is survived by his father, Herminio Tovar; mother, Luisa Tovar Salasar; brother, Juan Jose Tovar; sister, Guadalupe Anel Tovar; brother-in-law, Francisco Garcia Avalos; sister-in-law, Juana Martinez; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Honored pallbearers: Alexander Brister; Samuel Brister; Trevor Baechr; Kenny Dodson; Austin Dominy; Gabe Gray; Hunter Hathcock; Jordan Horn; Dillon Kanive; Gage Miller; Sean Neal; Sam Patterson; Cody Rowell; and Stephen Steele.
Services for our beloved Herminio were held Monday afternoon, September 27, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home.  Interment followed where Herm was laid to rest at Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro, Texas. - - -Fisher Funeral Home
