Burnett, 80, of Denison died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. A graveside service was held Thursday morning, September 20, 2016 at Georgetown Cemetery. Rev. Bill Brown officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Johnson-Moore Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Nelda Burnett, of Denison; and sons, Bobby Don Burnett II of Denison, and Bryan Keith Burnett of Sherman. - - - Bratcher Funeral Home  Nelda Ruth Burnett, 83, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. Mrs. Burnett was born October 14, 1937 in Gordonville, Texas, daughter of Raymond and Stella (Moon) Renfro. She married the love of her life, Bobby Burnett. Nelda worked for JB Simms for over 30 years before retiring. She loved to cook and enjoyed having her family over every Sunday for lunch. Her favorite pastime though was quilting. Over the years she has made many baby and full size quilts. Mrs. Burnett leaves behind her beloved family: sons, Brian Burnett and wife, Carla, of Sherman; and Bobby Burnett of Denison; two grandson, Blake Burnett and Brett Burnett. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Wanda Nelson; brothers, Jack Renfro and Orville Renfro. Graveside services were held Friday afternoon, February 26, 2021 at Georgetown Cemetery with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.
