Pottsboro - Malcome "Red" Fletcher, 83, died at his home in Pottsboro on Thursday, January 24, 2019.  He was born in Bellevue, Texas on May 22, 1935, son of Dock Franklin and Viola May North Fletcher.
Red and Edna Louise Raines were married on August 15, 1959 in Plano, Texas.  He proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the Unites States Marine Corps.  Red was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church; he was a diesel mechanic for Johnson & Johnson and retired after 41 years.  He played softball for the Johnson & Johnson team and was a fishing guide on Lake Texoma since 1987.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, January 30, 2019 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Rev. Bobby Hancock officiating.  Burial followed in Georgetown Cemetery.  Serving as his pallbearers were grandsons, John Wilshire, David Wilshire and Zachary Schrader.
Red is survived by his wife of 59 years; daughter, Pamela Fletcher and her partner, Norman Schrader, of Union City, Pennsylvania; brother, Clifford Fletcher and wife, Patsy, of Lake Livingston, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
