Texas, April 9 - Funeral services for George B. Anderson, well-known
merchant at Pottsboro, who died in Sherman Wednesday, were held at the
Pottsboro Methodist Church Thursday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. M.
R. Davis, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. K. M. Beard of
Southmayd. Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery near Pottsboro. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Janie Copeland Anderson and four daughters, Misses Lorane Anders, Kathaleen Anderson, Mary Louis Anderson and Janice Anderson, all of Pottsboro. He is also survived by his father, W. J. Anderson; one sister, Mrs. Ida Harding, both of Byers, Texas, and one brother, Jim Anderson of Denison. The members of the Pottsboro Masonic Lodge had charge of the services at the cemetery.
