Appearing on the Parent-Teacher Association program were Rev. J.W. Willbanks, Mayor F.M. Echols, Miss Verma Mangrum, H.G. Webster, Mary Lee Andrews, W.E. LaRoe, Miss Clyde Johnson, Mrs. Guy Hamilton, Mrs. T.E. Barbee, Mrs. G.F. Bryant, and a male quartet. The members of the high school Senior class who will graduate Friday evening, May 24 are: Mary Lee Andrews Virginia Benson Opal Cates Velma Lee Cates Mary Connelly Frances Gillespie Vernon Gordon Euna Lee Hampton Anna Hopkins Bernice Hopkins Maggie Horton Lula Jarvis Milliard Mangrum Fender May Charley Mayo Raymond Myrick Babe Nell Penn George Gordon Pope Mardell Pumphrey Ferd Scott Vestal Florence Wilson Fae Wood Guy Yowell Mary Lee Andrews won the race for honors in the Senior Class and Babe Nell Penn was second. In the 7th grade, Guy Hamilton, Jr. was first and Mary Jo Sears, second.
