PLANS MATURING FOR BASKETBALL SEASON

County Will be Divided into Four Districts in Championship Contest
C.C. Willis of this city, county athletic director, is notifying the basket ball coaches of the county that the basket ball championship will be decided by tournaments.  Grayson County will be divided into four districts, and the teams of these districts will play for the district championship.

These tournaments will be held in several districts January 25th.  The teams winning in the four districts will play for the county championship February 1, 1924.

The schools included in the Whitewright district, which will play here January 25th for the district championship, are Tom Bean, Bethel, Rose Hill, Cedar, Helvy, Choctaw, Ida, Dugan Chapel, Oxford, Blanks, Canaan, Pilot Grove, Pink Hill, Celtic, Bethany, Cannon, Cherry Mound, Shady Grove, Luella, Bells, and possibly Cleveland, Jameson and Simmons.
