VALEDICTORIAN

Jeff Milam McKinney was named valedictorian of the Van Alstyne graduating class of 1939 with a four-year average of 96.51.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Si McKinney of the city.  He was awarded a medal for outstanding work in English under Miss Mattison, teacher.  He was also awarded several scholarships for being honor student.
