Queen's Race
1954

For the Queen's race, each class picked a girl and boy to run.  The classes/grades raised money and whoever collected the most money won, it went to that class fund to pay for their end of school party.  The contest was split up into three groups ~ grades 1 through 4th; grades 5th through 8th; and grades 9th through 12th. The crowning of the queens took place at the Halloween Carnival.
