 Denison, Texas  Original Terrell High School building Terrell School was established in 1927. It was named in honor of August H. Terrell of Denison, Texas. The last
year that Terrell School operated as a predominately African American school was in 1967-1968. The building remained closed for one year, reopening as a middle school.
