 The Denison Press May 24, 1946 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS IN JOINT EVENT Students of the elementary schools who will matriculate into high school with the coming terms, will have joint exercises this year with the address being brought by Rev. Guy Newman. Exercises will be at the Denison high school auditorium. Principals of each school present their students diplomas of graduation from grade schools. Musical numbers will be given by the various schools with music under the direction of Mrs. Phil Loving, musical director of Central Ward. Accompaniment will be by Mrs. Marjorie Perryman, musical instructor at Peabody. A total of 87 will graduate from Centra; 55 from Peabody; 39 from Sam Houston; and 15 at Lamar and 12 at Raynal.
