Thursday, March 9, 1961 SCHOOL FOR COLORED The observance of Public School Week was emphasized with the inspiring address Monday by Dr. John Ray of Whitewright. Many interesting things were told to the pupils and patrons on the customs of Africa and other joining countries. The pupils are still talking about the things Dr. Ray told them about the country of their ancestors. Another event in the news of the school was the aid in the celebration of Negro History Week. . . . J. L.
