 December 4, 1903  Gunter
Bible College was organized by the Church of Christ in 1903 and
operated as a school until 1928. It was originally
a junior
college, eventually expanding to include an elementary and high school.
In 1946, the building was used for the aged. In
1976, more
than 200 aged residents were cared for in the home.
