GRAYSON EXES REUNION....
Historical Marker Will Be Dedicated Sunday

Whitewright (Spl.) - The 27th annual reunion of the ex-students and friends of Grayson College Sunday will be a twin event, Mrs. Gladys Ray, exes chairman, has announced.
The morning session, which will begin at 10 a.m., will be devoted to the activities of the ex-students of the old school.
In the afternoon, a historical marker for the old school will be dedicated by the Grayson County Historical survey committee.
A picnic basket  lunch will be served at the noon hour in the school cafeteria.
Duuring the alumni association meeting, which will be held in the breezeway, reports will be made, memorial resolutions will be adopted and collections taken for the scholarship and maintenance.
The highlight of the morning session will be the awarding of the 20th scholarship offered by the association to one of 3 candidates, Miss Ray said.
During the afternoon session which will start at 2 p.m., those  participating in the dedication program will include Grayson County Judge Less Tribble; J.C. Talliaferro, chairman of the Grayson County Historical Survey Committee; Dr. Cruse Stark, president of Grayson County Junior College; George German of Dallas; Miss Sue Gentry of Denison; Mrs. J.C. McMillan of Whitewright; Roy G. Robinson of Trenton; and Joe Harper of Ennis.
German will give a history of old Grayson College and Dr. Stark will tell of the present day Grayson Junior College.  Mrs. McMillan will pay tribute to Dr. G.W. Austin, former Superintendent of the Whitewright schools, former President of Grayson College and inter president of the Oklahoma State University for Women of Chickasha.
Robinson will give the invocation and Harper the benediction.
Two Whitewright students - Mickey Meador, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Meador and Katy Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wilson - are candidates for the scholarship.
