Friday, April 8, 1949 pg. 1 TRUSTEE ELECTION AT GOLDEN RULE Two trustees were elected at the Saturday afternoon election at Golden Rule School, according to Superintendent John M. Pirtle. Because of a tie in the second balloting, a run off election may be necessary, Mr. Pirtle said, unless a decision can be reached otherwise. The four names appearing on the ballot and the number of votes received by each includes: T.H. Hairsine, 3 votes R.A. Thompson, 3 votes Hal Davis, 1 vote H.L. Duncan, 5 votes In the event a run off election is to be held, date of such election will be published as soon as decided upon.
