Wednesday, August 15, 1917 pg. 27 Fiftieth Anniversary Edition ENGLISH AND CLASSICAL SCHOOL The undersigned assisted by Miss Mattie Bounds will open an English and Classical school in Sherman on Monday, the 12th day of April, 1869, and desires to say to those having children to educate that he intends to make it a school surpassed by none of discipline, thoroughness, and rapid advancement.
