Choctaw Grove School was located about five miles west of Luella, Texas and two and one-half miles south of Sherman. It was named for the Choctaw Bayou Creek and a grove of trees at the site of the school house.  The school house was in the Sherrod Dunham Survey No.329.

Annie Mae Frances
Mattie Maddox
Daisy Owens.
