 The Collinsville Times Friday, February 19, 1932 CENTER SCHOOL TO PLANT PECAN TREES MONDAY AFTERNOON Sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Association, tree planting day will be observed as a part of its celebration for the bicentennial anniversary of George Washington. The program, which will be provided by the pupils, will begin at 2:30 p.m. during which time a pecan tree, the state tree, will be planted on the school campus. The public is invited.
